Wholesome Photo Shows Jose Ramirez Enjoying His Offseason

On the field, Jose Ramirez is one of the most dangerous hitters in all of baseball.

The Cleveland Guardians slugger has a knack for coming through in the clutch and sending the Cleveland faithful into a frenzy.

Off the field, Ramirez simply enjoys life.

With the season over and free agency in full swing, Ramirez is enjoying his offseason.

But for him, there’s clearly more to life than just baseball.

As it turns out, the Guardians star has a love for animals.

On Twitter, the team posted a wholesome photo of Ramirez holding a pair of adorable puppies, with the caption, “Our perfect king.”

J-Ram And His Puppies

Sports and animals go together quite well.

Ramirez certainly thinks so.

The 30-year-old may be one of baseball’s top run producers, but off the field, he makes sure to enjoy the simple pleasures of life, including holding his puppies.

Animals simply make everything better, including baseball.

If you didn’t already think that Ramirez was a cool guy, here is further proof that he is.

As the Guardians said in their tweet, Ramirez is simply a “perfect king.”

Rocking a pair of cool shades and some nice sneakers will have that effect on a player, but adding the puppies just makes it that much better.

Ramirez’s puppies are absolutely adorable and simply add extra value to the four-time All-Star.

So while baseball entails a great deal of competition, discipline, and focus, there also can be a lighter side to the game, and Ramirez and his puppies certainly help to remind us that baseball can be as wholesome as it is competitive.
